Hi, I’m Dr Nadia Abuhussein. I’m a UK based GP, functional medicine and aesthetics doctor. I have a background in surgical training and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology & Dermoscopy. I take a functional medicine and integrative approach to health, combining conventional medicine with root cause strategies to support my patients with hormonal imbalances, gut and skin issues, metabolic health and overall wellbeing.
My passion for dermatology and aesthetic medicine comes from seeing how closely our skin can reflect what is happening elsewhere in the body. Concerns such as acne, rosacea, pigmentation, hair loss and premature ageing are not always just about what we apply to the skin.
That is why I take a broader view. Where appropriate, I consider areas such as hormonal health, gut health, metabolism, lifestyle and overall wellbeing alongside the skin itself.
My commitment to this approach is also shaped by personal experience. Living with my own long-term health challenges has given me a deeper appreciation of how frustrating it can feel when you know something is not quite right but do not yet have the full picture.
My approach is supported by medical training across general practice, surgery, dermatology, functional medicine and aesthetics—allowing me to consider skin health from several complementary perspectives.

The goal is not simply to chase symptoms or trends. It is to understand your priorities, consider the wider picture and build a plan that feels appropriate for you.
Your concerns, history and goals form the starting point of every recommendation.
Where relevant, skin health can be considered alongside lifestyle, hormones, gut health, metabolic health and other contributing factors.
Recommendations are tailored around your individual needs rather than applying the same protocol to everyone.
Aesthetic care is approached thoughtfully, with an emphasis on safety, harmony, skin quality and natural-looking outcomes.
You do not need to know exactly which consultation, programme or treatment you need before getting in touch. Start with an enquiry call and tell us what you would like support with.
